Helen Whysall, Founder and Managing Director

Helen has dedicated more than 20 years to the professional yachting industry. with close connections  in Mallorca, one of the world’s yachting capitals, a long way from where she grew up in landlocked Johannesburg.

She trained to become a professional chef in the Prue Leith college of Food and Wine in South Africa with a goal to see the world. At age 21, after a brief spell of working in restaurants in London and no yachting background, she found herself in Palma where her talents in the kitchen, her passion for life, and a desire to travel led her into a decade of working in yachting.

In that time she has sailed and worked in all of the most popular charter destinations around the globe. She crossed the Atlantic 9 times, took part in offshore racing, and worked aboard some of the most prestigious sail and power yachts in locations from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean and beyond.

Helen’s background as yacht crew, along with her passion and deep knowledge of the charter industry makes her perfect for creating the most Sublime holiday.

DAWN MACPHEE | Charter Broker 

Dawn grew up sailing the seas of Nova Scotia, Canada, but dreams of sun and sand lured her away to the Caribbean after her first round of university. It began with a brief stint at a beach bar in the British Virgin Islands, and soon she joined the crew of a luxury sailboat in Antigua.

Her adventures as a chief stewardess on charter yachts took her across the Atlantic 4 times, all over the Caribbean, Mediterranean, UK, Florida, New England, even through the Suez Canal to the Maldives where she survived the 2004 tsunami.

Over the years she gained first hand knowledge of destinations along with an intimate understanding of making every charter truly special for her guests.

Her natural curiosity about the world led her to take a break from yachting to pursue a journalism degree, and she spent a few years ashore working as a TV and radio reporter in Canada. It wasn’t long before love led her back to life at sea, and she resumed her role on yachts for another 5 years.

Today Dawn is land based but she still goes the extra mile for our charter clients, personalising the planning process and asking the right questions to ensure the yacht and the destination are the right fit.
