Balearic Yacht Charter Destination

Balearic Islands

Discover the natural beauty of Spain’s Balearic Islands, a sunny and stunning archipelago with four main islands: Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera, and Menorca.  A yacht charter will allow you to easily hop between islands and experience the unique character each one has to offer.

Mallorca is the largest island, and its capital city of Palma is the perfect place to begin your charter. The picturesque city has something for everyone from food lovers to history buffs with impressive architecture, gourmet restaurants, designer shops, art galleries, bars, markets, and a medieval old town. When you make way from this cosmopolitan city, you can explore the quieter coastlines of the island with miles of golden sand beaches, secluded anchorages in secret coves, rustic villages, and charming ports. The mountains and rugged limestone cliffs create some awe-inspiring scenery as you float by.  There are a number of exceptional marinas dotted around the island, and don’t miss a visit to the towns of Soller, Valldemossa, and Deia.

Ibiza is a world famous place to party with nightclubs and sunset beach bars that attract the finest of DJ talent. But there’s so much more to discover on the “White Island”. Beyond Ibiza Town you’ll find nature at its finest with miles of sandy shoreline and plenty of small calas for beach hopping. Ibiza is also synonymous with wellness, with the healing power of Es Vedra said to be the third most magnetic place on earth. A variety of yoga and mindfulness retreats are available, along with healthy eating hotspots and sumptuous spas.

Peaceful Formentera is Ibiza’s sister island, and one of the most relaxing locations in Europe, also home to one of the best beaches, Playa Illetes. There’s no airport or hustle and bustle here, the island is only accessible by boat. Dozens of deserted beaches offer crystal clear turquoise water, perfect for snorkelling and searching for colourful fish between the rocks.

On laid back Menorca you’ll find sophistication alongside a natural oasis with an abundance of beaches and secluded coves. The charming town of Ciutadella features narrow cobblestone streets, an impressive Renaissance square, and a lovely harbour. Menorca’s capital city of Mahon features terracotta coloured houses, along with portside restaurants, museums and even a gin factory. The entire island can be circumnavigated in 80 nautical miles, with lovely green and forest landscape, a bevy of beautiful beaches, and countless secluded anchorages for rest and relaxation.
